Marathon DVR2000E Digital Voltage Regulator is a microprocessor-based electronic Automatic Voltage Regulator designed for use with brushless AC generators. The regulator maintains stable generator voltage by controlling the current supplied to the generator's exciter field.


The DVR2000E supports Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), Field Current Regulation (FCR), Power Factor (PF), and Reactive Power (VAR) control modes, making it suitable for generator excitation and voltage-control applications. It also incorporates programmable stability settings, soft-start control, underfrequency protection, overexcitation limiting and multiple protective shutdown functions.


The unit features an encapsulated construction for behind-panel installation and provides front-panel status indication and adjustment capability. A rear RS-232 communication interface can be used for PC-based setup and monitoring with compatible Marathon software.


Ideal applications include industrial generators, standby generator systems, synchronous generators, alternators, generator control panels and maintenance of Marathon excitation systems.
