The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC BMXP342020 Modicon M340 CPU340-20 Modbus Ethernet Processor Module is a high-performance PLC processor designed for the Modicon M340 automation platform. It provides integrated processing and communication capabilities for industrial automation, machine control and distributed I/O applications.
The BMXP342020 features an integrated Ethernet TCP/IP RJ45 interface supporting 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX, with services including Modbus TCP messaging, SNMP network management, Rack Viewer and Data Editor. Schneider Electric specifies support for up to 1,024 discrete I/O and 256 analog I/O in a multi-rack configuration.
The processor also provides an integrated serial connection supporting Modbus master/slave RTU and ASCII communication, making it suitable for connecting industrial devices such as drives, meters, sensors and other Modbus-compatible equipment.
